| About our Molecular Models
MOLECULAR
MODELS are a great way for students to
visualize and bring life to some very complex concepts.
These versatile products can be used to demonstrate
everything from simple water molecules to DNA, RNA
Protein Synthesis.
All components are color-coded and made of flexible
plastic, which makes them easy to put together, take
apart and reuse for years. Most class packages have
enough material for 12 sets of models, which are
individually bagged. Individual student worksheets and
detailed teacher guides are also included.
SPEAKING OF FLEXIBLE COMPONENTS
Flexibility not only refers to our module components,
but to the many different package choices there are. We
understand that not every class is going to have 30
students. Sometimes there’s more, but often there’s
less. So we created some options, and you decide which
one is right for you. There are Standard Kits, Dash 8
[–8] Kits and Enlarge-A-Lab packets which allow
tremendous flexibility when ordering.
Individual molecular components are also available in
packs of 100. Click
here for
details.
STANDARD KITS
Typically, there are 12 - 15 component packages in
each kit. 30 student sheets and a detailed teacher guide
are also provided.
 |
When you see
this logo, it means that a Dash 8 Kit is
available. It also signifies that Enlarge-A-Lab
packets can be purchased to customize the kit,
based on your classroom needs. |
DASH 8 [– 8] KITS
When you see an item number that ends in -8 like Kit No.
132-8, it means that a scaled-down version of that kit
is available. These kits include 8 component packages,
30 student sheets and the same detailed teacher guide.
This kit supports the 4-2-1
approach to cooperative learning that is common to many
LAB-AIDS and SEPUP products.
4 – A group of four students shares material
2 – Students work in pairs to complete the activity
1 – Each students submits their own written
responses for the activity
ENLARGE-A-LAB PACKETS
If you have more students in your class than we have
component packs in our kit, you don’t have to buy
another kit! Now you can buy additional component packs
separately which allows more students to actively
participate in an activity. Each packet is unique to
that particular activity. 4Any number of packets can be
purchased to truly customize our kits for your class.
Enlarge-A-Lab packets are 4a great way to stretch your
budget.

Look What Teachers Are Saying...
In a time when education is constantly under fire, SEPUP provides the science teacher with a proven program
that can get the job done and still keep the student's interest in science. There is a dramatic change in the atmosphere
of my classroom when I get out the SEPUP materials. Students see the relevance and importance of the issues we are
examining. There is an excitement as they walk in the room asking, “What are we doing today?”
The SEPUP materials allow me more time and energy to work with students. It is very time-consuming to develop
your own activities. SEPUP provides the structure and materials I need to do “good science” on a daily basis. I
am able to set up an activity that does hands on science in 15-20 minutes in the morning. I know that the activity
works because experienced science teachers around the country have tested it in the field. My time is spent dealing
with student learning.
